When a very successful person writes an autobiography or reveals his secret-sauce-to-success– it’s a gem. This is both.David tackles some big subjects, and he doesn’t waste time doing it.THE BODY I like how he begins his book through his story of struggle, humbly laying his past open to introspection, providing a ground floor from where he works his way up, and so demonstrating to the reader that his success is a proof of concept. The following chapters are deep dives into many big questions we all strive to grasp: Happiness. Fear. The Mind. The Soul. The end is a bold wrap-up of applicable topics toward self betterment and maintaining happiness through spirituality and self understanding.THE FEEL The book doesn’t add fluff to fill pages, so he gets to his points quickly–allowing mentally mature readers to turn the page to a new topic and so the book can read at a fast pace. Careful in going too fast, because every sentence packs an intellectual and spiritual punch. This book is a collective of ideas, a mosaic form from many years of reading hundreds of books. So it can be a book you read a page, put it down to reflect, then turn the page.It definitely has an American Romanticism feel to it. Where individual inner spiritual personal experience transcends the limitations of norms. Emphasizing an open and loving viewpoint to produce social and universal harmonies and enhance flow state–this is a common trait in successful people that challenge the rigidity of habit. It also definitely has Taoisms.OVERALL If you want shortcuts to a lifelong body of knowledge, this is a book for you. Hopefully future generations will be able to hold on to accumulated information like this, and build a better tomorrow. It is with great pleasure that I review this big work.
I just finished New Me, my brother’s new book. First of all I loved his concise writing style- his wisdom is so effectively communicated in few words and paragraphs. I wanted to know what has changed him in the past 10 years!! He has always been a super achiever and very successful; and now? He is also a gentle man, peaceful, tender, a great listener, and very compassionate. “Remember, in life there are two things that make us decide what to do: love and fear. Love is the language of your soul, and fear comes from a lack of knowledge or the unknown. When we know things or have an understanding of things, then there is no fear. Our purpose as a New Me is to have better knowledge, less fear, and choices that are made with love.” I am so thankful that we have the ability to change- “do not try to solve all of your problems with the same mind that got you into these problems.

I enjoyed reading the book “New Me”. It was a nice short read that can be used as a reference point when you need your spirits lifted and while in need of meditation tips. David Niroo was able to share his wisdom and daily rituals with a warm life story on the lessons he’s learned on his way to success. Through his experiences, he helps you find your higher-self and confirms the belief that you have the power to do and become anything that you dream of. Your mind is extremely powerful and once you are aware, you can make anything come into fruition.
Synopsis: The underlying message and purpose of “New Me” by David Niroo is that we are all born in this life as a child ready to love to the fullest. As we grew, we covered our true self with layers of fear and social and religious beliefs. So how can we correct years of behavior and habits that keep us from unlocking our true potential? How can you break the cycle to become a New You? Beginning with his own story, David shares his own journey through self-discovery and spiritual enlightenment in order to transform into his new self. Drawing from what he learned, David sets out to explain concepts, such as God, the soul, fear, happiness, choices, and intuition, which are invaluable in the process of transformation. Knowledge of what we are made of will allow us to live life with love, but a lack of knowledge creates fear in our lives. Outside of these topics, readers of “New Me” are introduced to daily regimens that can allow them to begin to live a life full of love, and to experience peace, allowing them to have a happier inner self and see the outside world through non-judgmental glasses. This enables them to move from this life to the next on a positive soul journey, giving them the opportunity to fix their soul’s karma and learn the lessons needed for their soul’s evolution. If you can master this, you will finally get back to God, who set us free to live lives as we wish and learn lessons on this “earth school.” By following David’s advice, the reader can start their journey to become the best version of themselves. Anyone and everyone can become a “New Me”. Critique: As inspired and inspiring as it is informatively motivating, “”New Me”” is an especially recommended addition to community, college, and university library Popular Psychology, Spiritual Self-Help/Self-Improvement collections. It should be noted for personal reading lists that “New Me” is also readily available in a digital book format (Kindle, $1.99). Editorial Note: David Niroo was born on October 13, 1950, in Tehran, Iran. He came to the United States to receive a higher education and follow his American dream. Through hard work and compassion, David accomplished great financial success. David is a natural-born motivator and leader who seeks the path of understanding to answer his life’s questions and strives to have knowledge of the spiritual world. These endeavors have given him peace, joy, and harmony in his life.

Life can be good if you allow it. Overall enjoyed reading the book because I am married to an Iranian lady. It gave me a better glimpse into Iranian culture. A completely different Iran than today for sure. It’s an easy, fun and at times humorous read. But it is a genuine consideration of David Niroo’s life. How he initially perceived life with all his challenges and successes. Now in the second half of his life, he is realizing and prioritizing others besides himself – learning to be wise and impactful valuing the human heart, and being inclusive to all people in this world no matter their upbringing and background. Throughout the book, he gives significant life lessons that can help anyone have a positive outlook in the polarized world we live in today. It’s definitely worth the time to read.
